Abstract

Cutaneous metastasis from internal malignancies are significant from diagnostic point of view considering
their variable clinical presentation. Although, carcinoma breast is a common primary cancer in females
producing skin metastasis, it is rather an uncommon site as common metastatic sites include lymph node,
bone, lung, liver etc. Here we present a case of cutaneous metastasis in a 54 years old female who presented
with complaints of a nodular swelling for three years. The skin over the swelling showed discoloration.
Patient was a known case of carcinoma breast for which she had been operated on and had received
treatment eight years back. FNAC done from the swelling showed typical metastatic foci of infiltrating
duct carcinoma. The case is being reported in view of its classical cytological picture and its uncommon
site of presentation.
